If you have a question about the site or would like more information about advertising on The Wedding Atlas, please drop me a line at

If you would like to submit a spotlight to the site, you have three options. You can:

  • …submit a session through Two Bright Lights, a service that allows wedding vendors to submit sessions to a number of top wedding blogs simultaneously (including sites like . Submissions sent through TBL will be posted faster than other submissions because I want to encourage vendors to use this great resource. You can submit to this blog and all of my other sites by submitting to “The Wedding Atlas”. I accept submissions even if you’re also sending them out to other blogs, so be sure to get your work out to as many editors as you’d like!
  • …send an email to with the first names of the happy couple, the name of the photographer (preferably with a link to his/her website), the location of the event, and any other details you’d like to include, along with up to 20 images. The images must be at least 600px wide and I would prefer if they have the photographer’s logo or watermark (but if not, send them anyway).
  • …send an email to with a link to the post about the event on the photograher’s blog. Please do not send links to private albums, Facebook albums, or Flickr albums.

Note: I do my best to acknowledge each submission that is sent my way, so if you don’t hear a peep from me, go ahead and send it again.

My name is Carly Morgan and I’ve been a wedding blogger since early 2008 when I started planning my own big day. Most of my wedding was planned online with the help of other online brides and they inspired me to create a wedding resource that offers simple information and a lot of beautiful photos all organized in one easy-to-use site. I’m excited about the future and can’t wait to add even more to this site!

Offline, I live in Salt Lake City, Utah, with my husband and our two kids. I love to cook, travel, go thrift shopping, and watch anything and everything starring Cary Grant. I have degrees from The University of Utah (go Utes!) and The Ohio State University (go Buckeyes!) and in a past life I was an attorney. These days, I spend all of my time working at home as a freelance writer. You can find me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube.

Dear Carly, usually I don´t comment on “about” pages but as I saw that you were a lawyer in your previous life as well and now turned to all things weddings I had to smile. My life did the same turn;-)
Your website is very nice! I will make sure to follow your blog.
